Waylands Yard is the latest coffee shop concept to hit Birmingham. With its stripped back interior, and at the heart of one of the busiest areas in the City Centre, it is sure to a success. With an already honed model from their first shop in Worcester, Waylands know what works and what doesn’t by serving proper coffee and proper food.
I visited on a sunday morning for brunch, albeit a little quite but it was the first couple of months of opening. I opted for the veggie brunch and the coffee splitter.
The coffee splitter consists of water, espresso, flat white and a cold brew. If you are the the type of person who doesn’t like coffee.
I did visit back during the week and it was heaving with people coming and going. However, the chilled laid back interior does calm you.
Pricing wise it came to a standard £15pp. 15% discount is available with Independent Birmingham so worth getting it if you are local.
